BLACKJACK

the object of Video Blackjack, also known as Twenty-One, is to beat the dealer with a hand of cards that does not go over a total of twenty-one. The value of the hand is the sum of its cards.
- Face cards count as 10.
- Aces count as either 1 or 11.
- All other cards count as their face value.
Play begins by placing a bet. You can change your bet amount with the buttons at the bottom center. Then press "Deal" to receive two cards facing up. You can then "Hit" (continue to draw cards) until you want to "stand", or until the hand goes over 21 (bust). After you stand, the dealer must draw cards as long as his total is less than 16 and must stand when the total is 17 or more. You win if you have higher points than the dealer (without going bust). There's no winner with an equal hand (a "push")

Special options:
- You can "split" when you have only two matching cards and you want to split them into two hands, doubling your bet.
- You can "double" when you have only two cards totaling 10 or 11. You will automatically receive only one more card and double your bet. you can't double when you've split your cards.
- If you are dealt two really bad cards at the start, you can surrender your two cards and have half your bet refunded.

POKER

The aim of video poker is to obtain a winning hand. There is no opponent. A winning hand results in the following pay-offs:
- Pair of Jacks or Better: 1 to 1
- 2 Pairs: 2 to 1
- 3 of a kind: 3 to 1
- Straight (5 cards in sequential order but not of the same suit): 4 to 1
- Flush (5 cards of the same suit, not in sequential order): 5 to 1
- Full House (a pair and 3 of a kind): 10 to 1
- 4 of a kind: 20 to 1
- Straight Flush (5 cards of the same suit in sequential order): 50 to 1

Set your bet amount a press the "deal" button to receive 5 cards. Observe your cards to see if you have a good hand and which cards (if any) you would like to replace. Press the "hold" buttons under the cards you'd like to keep and press "deal" again to exchange the non-held cards for new ones. If you have a winning hand you'll receive the respective pay-off - otherwise you lose.
