- When you press the "don't touch" button in the escape pod, you'll wind up in King's Quest 1 and Ken and Roberta Williams commenting about another Space Quest player being eaten by the gators in the moat.
After defeating Lolotte, go to the corridor with the door to the prison cell and type "beam me". Rosella will beam to a spaceship where the KQ4 programmers are. You can look at them and talk to them.
Also go back into your prison cell and type "rap kq" near the center of the room. Note: In the SCI version it is not possible to re-enter the prison cell.
When Larry waits to get a seat at the restaurant, the receptionist first lets all the rich people pass and take a seat, including Mr. and Mrs. Gates (referring to Bill Gates of Microsoft) and Mr. and Mrs. Williams, referring to Ken and Roberta Williams, founders of Sierra On-Line.
At the end of the game, Larry and Patti end up in the studio of Sierra Online. After passing the set of Police Quest, a room with gadgets (referring to the Black Cauldron, Manhunter, Larry 1 and other Sierra titles), and the Space Quest set, they meet Roberta Williams who is shooting the whale tongue scene of King's Quest IV.
Fester has a postcard of Roberta Land in his shop, a reference to Roberta Williams. There is also an Arakis postcard - Arrakis is the planet from the game series and movie "Dune".
The graffiti wall in the back alley of the bazaar (beside the textile shop) has the writing "pro bonus tempus apello Berta", which translates from Latin as "i'm calling Berta for a good time". This is possibly a reference to Roberta Williams, founder of Sierra On-Line. When you type "LOOK GRAFFITI", it responds "Let us say simply that it is someone's crude idea of a joke".
In Carrington's office there are phone numbers assigned to Sierra developers:
- T. Dargan is Tammy Dargan, credited as Special Thanks in the game credits.
- R. Williams is Roberta Williams, co-founder of Sierra and creative consultant of the game.
When Adrienne checks the envelope in Malcolm's mailbox, the sender of the letter is R. Williams from Oakhurst, which would be Roberta Williams, the writer and designer of the game.
