Hoyle Word Games 2 contains tracks from 1997's Classic Board Games and Classic Card Games (which featured the same soundtrack other than the game intro), as well as new tracks from Hoyle Word Games 1.

Some songs were originally in Hoyle Solitaire of 1996:

- "Cruis'n" which was previously called "Calm", and titled "Mellow" before that.
- "Rio" which was previously called "Nature", and titled "Rainforest" before that.
