Description

Bearcage Productions

Founded in Canberra in 1989 by Michael Tear and Serge Ou (with Nunzio Gambale coming on board in 2004) Bearcage’s production slate was characterised by narrative driven documentaries, factual series, animation, advertising, and government and corporate communications across a range of media platforms.

Wildbear Entertainment

After Bearcage merged with other Australian production company WildFury in 2014, it became Wildbear Entertainment. WildBear Entertainment works across television, theatrical, corporate, educational, and government communications.

With offices in three Australian capital cities and a comprehensive catalogue of completed projects — including co-productions with leading international and Australian broadcasters such as National Geographic, Discovery, ZDF, Arte, CCTV9, FINAS Malaysia, PBS, Beijing TV, ABC TV, Seven Network, SBS, FOXTEL, and the Nine Network — WildBear is an ideal co-production partner for international producers and broadcasters.

WildBear also owns Content Mint (formerly Absolutely Wild Visuals), an internationally renowned stock footage library. The library holds thousands of hours of HD, 35mm, S16mm, and other high end video stock footage with a focus on travel, worldwide locations, wildlife and nature.
