This fifth (yes, fifth, not sixth) installment of the Leisure Suit Larry series, created by Al Lowe, is labeled as the "biggest, longest and hardest Larry yet". The first release of Larry 6, which was made with Sierra SCI engine, used VGA graphics, came without speech and has a slightly different layout. Later on the game was updated with SVGA graphics and speech was added. Unfortunately all Larry collections came with the first release VGA version. Although the game starts off with no connection to Larry 5 (where Larry was still together with Patti), the ending of Larry 6 is continued in the beginning of Larry 7: Love for Sail.
