Sign up to defend the Galactica or play as the ruthless Cylons seeking to remove the Human Race from existence. Pilot legendary ships from the series, including the Viper II, Heavy Raider, Blackbird and Combat Raptor. You can chose to play the single player campaign mode with 10 missions, including search and rescue, destruction of a fuel refinery, escort missions and a one-on-one showdown with Scar, the Cylon's best pilot. You can also opt to play Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Domination games against up to 15 AI or human opponents on 10 different maps. Use special maneuvers to dodge attacks and special weapons to deal even more destruction.

Based on the popular TV series that ran from 2006 until 2009, Battlestar Galactica is a 2-D space shooter. Developed by Auran Games and published by Vivendi division Sierra Online, the game was released both for the XBox 360 and IBM PC with the XBox360 release also offering the challenge of completing 12 achievements in both single player and multiplayer modes. Unfortunately the game received overall poor reviews with issues such as its short length, mediocre graphics, awkward controls and unused potential to appeal to the fans of the franchise.
