King Arthur sighting
Sometimes in the desert you come across the dead body of King Arthur from Conquests of Camelot. As you approach it, it disappears.
You can find three Marx Brothers in Quest for Glory II. Two are rather obvious, but the third is hidden.
Groucho is Ali Fakir. Bargain with him for an interesting pseudo-Marxian monologue. Chico is Alichica, the souvenir seller.
For the third Marx brother, Harpo, you need to turn on Silly Clowns in the menu, since he's the silly clown in this game. On Day 3, go west from Fountain Plaza and you'll see him pass by at the T-junction, blowing a horn.

Purchase the X-Ray glasses at the magic shop. Then when you meet Zayisha, wear the glasses as she changes her clothes to see her in the nude. Note that, despite popular belief, this does NOT affect honor points or disqualify the hero from becoming a Paladin.

Genesta
In the WIT's entrance hall, look at the image of Erana - she looks like the fairy Genesta from King's Quest 4.
Right-click with the mouse at random places on the screen (looking at nothing of importance to read various funny messages. One of them is a reference to the upcoming Quest for Glory 2: Trial by Fire.
Go left in the desert and you may see a saurus chased by Jackalmen. This is a clear reference to Quest for Glory 2: Trial by Fire, which was also remade by AGD Interactive and released in 2008.
At the gate which leads to the land in the clouds, try to "pick lock" for a reference to the "Famous Adventurer's Correspondence School", which is a reference to Quest for Glory 1 and 2.
