Running King's Quest I (AGI) on modern computers

King's Quest 1 runs perfectly fine in DOSBox. Setting the DOSBox video setting to "Tandy" will render 3 midi-channels rather than the internal speaker sound. There is also an automatic DOSBox installer for King's Quest provided at the Sierra Help Pages.
