At the scene in the mountains where Cedric gets caught by the wolf, look at the middle mountain peak. The narrator will say the mountain looks vaguely familiar to Graham. It has the same shape as the Half-Dome in Yosemite National Park, Sierra's logo.

In the pawnshop, look at the items on the shelf next to the bear. You will find:
- "a hull-hole detector for finding those hard-to-spot holes in small sailboats", referring to the sailboat in King's Quest V.
- "cat-cookie mix.", referring to King's Quest III.
- "a golden bridle finder, for those nearly-invisible golden bridles", referring to King's Quest IV.
- "self-adhesive emeralds, what you use when you don't have honey", referring to King's Quest V.
- "tongue climbing gear, testd on over one hundred whale tongues", referring to King's Quest IV.
- "a uvula tickler", again referring to King's Quest IV.
- a Cheese hook, for retrieving cheese out of small holes", referring to King's Quest V.
- "a shovel that's guaranteed not to break for over one-hundred grave diggings", referring to King's Quest IV.
- "a bridge repair kit, for when you've crossed a bridge one too many times", referring to King's Quest II.

Cedric the owl from King's Quest 5 at one point appears in Ms Astro Chicken.

When you're in the nest of the pterodactyl on Estros, wait a bit and at one point you'll see King Graham fly by, a reference to him taking being caught by a bird in King's Quest 5.

When you recover the ladder from the ant pile, you'll see a couple of buzzards and Cedric from King's Quest 5 landing on the bridge. Try talking to him and touching him for some funny remarks from the narrator. Exit to the bridge and immediately return and the buzzards will have gotten the best of Cedric...

Click the talk cursor on yourself repeatedly. There's a chance of 1 in 15 that Graham gives a reference to Cedric the Owl of KQ5.

While in the dragon cave, Graham and Achaka crawl through a narrow tunnel which strongly resembles the tunnel King Graham crawled through to escape the Dark Woods in King's Quest 5.
